On the way there, where "Berimandl" & other legendary figures were sighted in the past and where people still tell stories today!
The golden autumn in the Almtal also has exciting hiking days in store for us this time! More leisurely than last time, we will hike together on beautiful paths through the forests, alpine pastures and peaks of the Upper Austrian Pre-Alps and pay a visit to legendary places. Of course, great WALDNESS experiences await you again!
The Women's Hiking Days take place in cooperation with the Catholic Women's Movement under the leadership of pilgrimage guide and WALDNESS coach Sabina Haslinger.
A relaxed start to the day!
We start with an impulse or with Wyda before breakfast. Afterwards we will hike over the "Häfenbrecher" to the place where the Kimmhäferl-Miazl was at home and discover many more legendary places in the Almtal.
We will encounter old stories that are still relevant today in the forest and on the water, and who knows what else!
Participation in the hiking programme is at your own risk, good mountain and hiking equipment, as well as fitness and surefootedness for all-day mountain hikes are necessary!

We recommend travelling by public transport! Grünau im Almtal is easily accessible by train. We will take care of the transfer to the Sporthotel Grünau Wimmergreuth!
The local hiking taxi is available to us on 2 days
