The Traunsee-Almtal Salzkammergut region, the OÖ Seilbahnholding and our partner companies will take you to the valley station of the Feuerkogel cable car and the Feuerkogel family ski area - the sunniest high plateau in Upper Austria - FREE OF CHARGE from December 26, 2023 to March 10, 2024!
From December 26, 2023 to March 10, 2024, there will be a free bus service from Gmunden to the valley station of the Feuerkogel cable car, the Traunsee Winteshuttle, for residents of Gmunden and guests of the 3 partner hotels. The bus departs from the Toscana parking lot in Gmunden at 08:45 and makes 3 stops until you can comfortably get off at the cable car station. The return journey is at 16:15.
This service is organized by the Traunsee-Almtal region in cooperation with the OÖ Seilbahnholding, 3 accommodation providers - Panoramahotel Traunstein in Altmünster, Gröller Hospitality (Das Traunsee) Traunkirchen, Landhotel Post in Ebensee am Traunsee - and the municipality of Gmunden.
Transportation will once again be provided by Traunstein Taxi this winter. For individual guests, registration is required no later than the day before on 0043 50 422 1691, stating the departure point; for guests of partner businesses, this is organized by the accommodation provider. For groups of 10 people or more, registration is required at least 2 days before the desired shuttle service.
The winter shuttle can also be used by snowshoe hikers, sun-seekers, ski tourers and other mountain fans. Further information about the ski area and its possibilities can be found on the homepage Familie Resort Feuerkogel.

The printed timetables are approximate and may change slightly due to external circumstances (traffic volume, increased number of passengers). If the lifts cannot be put into operation (e.g. during storms), the shuttle service will be canceled. We ask for your understanding!
The return journeys are only made if the shuttle bus was used for the outward journeys.
