Monday, 30 September 2024

11:45 am Individual arrival by Almtalbahn or private car.
Meeting point at Grünau im Almtal train station. Transfer to the forest school of Chief Forester Fritz Wolf, Austria's official forest ambassador.

12:00 pm Start of the WALDNESS.dialogue with a healthy, cold WALDNESS.buffet with all kinds of delicacies, fresh spring water and a schnapps - organised by Fritz Wolf at the Almtal farmers.

13:00: Fritz Wolf and his son, Christoph, take different groups into their forest and present Wald.Wissen as part of the Wald.Pädagogik in Austria, co-developed by Fritz Wolf. Forest owners, foresters, hunters and guests should treat the forest with respect.

15:30 Transfer from the forest school via Grünau train station to Europe's 1st WALDNESS.Resort, the Hochberghaus at 1,200 metres - check-in for overnight guests

16:30 Meeting in the Hochberghaus seminar room. Start of our keynotes and keynote speeches:
1. Hermann Hüthmayr, Stefan Schimpl and Andreas Pangerl: WALDNESS, the nature-healthy tourist brand with quality assurance
2. Fritz Wolf: The forest - a healing drink to breathe in. Only together can the symbiosis of people and nature work
3. Sebastian Markov, MA from the European Campus Rottal-Inn: "Forest and Health" - an Interreg-funded study by the Deggendorf Institute of Technology
4. Stefanie Frech, BioConValley, Rostock: "No fear of the healing forest"(not yet fixed)

18:30 fireside chat - moderated - with further discussion partners on the topic of "Forest and Health"

19:30 WALDNESS.Liachtbrat'l in the Rein for all participants. The old Salzkammergut tradition is of course also upheld at the Hochberghaus. With fresh herbs from the forest!

8:30 a.m. WALDNESS.breakfast at the Hochberghaus for all overnight guests
9:30 a.m. Drive or transfer to the idyllic Almsee lake. Transfer to the idyllic Almsee and typical WALDNESS.experience branches of our WALDNESS.coaches of the first hour (it will be divided into groups!):
1. Mary Hageneder: Wald.Kneippen
2. Sabina Haslinger: Wald.Schmecken with fairy tales and maybe yodelling
3. Fritz Wolf: Wald.Luftbaden

11:00 am group change for the WALDNESS.Experience branches
(two for each participant)

12:30 Transfer to Forellenhof Wieselmühle, a member of "SchmecktakuläresAlmtal" and final lunch together on own account.
