The impressive Gassel stalactite cave is often the destination of the trip, but the pleasant atmosphere, the welcome refreshments, the good food and the cosiness are all part of a stay at the Gasselhütte. Hiking time: Ascent 2 3/4 hours, descent 2 1/2 hours. Elevation difference: 803 m A shuttle service is also available if booked in advance (+43 680 4446510), remaining walking time from the exit point approx. 30 minutes. The cave is closed on usual Fridays.
