Together they run the small but excellent organic farm and place great value on the well-being of people and animals. What Grandma Anneliese "Annie" Moser started in 1972 with 2 dairy sheep, Monika and Karl have lovingly developed further: MoniKas is an unadulterated, genuine natural product with valuable ingredients that only nature can provide and which are crucial for a good flavour. Raw milk is more digestible than boiled, preserved milk. The fats in sheep's milk can be utilised more easily, so people with cow's milk problems like to choose sheep's milk. We have the following products in our range: raw sheep's milk (0.5 litres) or raw cow's milk (1 litre), our "Gupferl" (mixed sheep's cheese), hand cheese made from cow's milk (flavoured with a mixture of herbs or with garlic/pepper), feta-style shepherd's cheese (mixed sheep's cheese), natural yoghurt from sheep or cows and butter from cows. **MoniKas shop** We open our MoniKas shop on Saturdays: From 8 a.m. to 12 noon we look forward to a personal chat with our customers and on the other days of the week our products are available via Käsekastler, a self-service fridge that is freely accessible outside. We are also happy to produce on pre-order, just give us a call or send us an e-mail. Our MoniKas raw sheep's and cow's milk products from the Almtal are available in selected neighbouring grocery shops and FoodCoops in addition to our farm shop and Käsekastl, availability depends on the season.
