With its sometimes unmistakable turquoise color, the Alm also stretches through the village of Scharnstein. With its gravel banks and weirs, it is also suitable for children. Enjoy bathing fun with a difference. The Geyerinsel - the bathing place in Scharnstein --------------------------------------------------- The area on the Geyerinsel, right behind the Geyerhammer Musem, offers a beautiful gravel bank with flat access to the Alm river. The river path along the Alm river "**Genuss am Almfluss**" also leads directly past it and a large Almwelle lounger is on site with a marvelous view of the Scharnstein ruins. - Very good accessibility by bike (no cars allowed at the bathing area) - Ideal accessibility with the **Almtalbahn railway**- the Scharnstein-Mühldorf stop is on the other bank of the Alm.
