Wagyu beef from the Pühringer family
We run our small farm in the beautiful Salzkammergut in the third generation and in 2008 we specialized in the breeding of Wagyu cattle. We stand for conscious meat consumption. Our motto is: Better a little less meat but high quality, regionally and sustainably produced.
It is important to us to produce products of the highest quality, with the welfare of our animals and our environment coming first. Our Wagyu cattle only eat their own hay and grass from our pastures; instead of maize, we feed regional brewer's grains and grain from our neighboring farmers, and we completely dispense with silage.
This high-quality feed composition, together with selected genetics and a way of keeping the animals in a species-appropriate and contented way, are the basis for the extraordinary taste of our Wagyu beef. The stress-free slaughter and optimal maturation (at least 21 days dry aging on the bones) optimize the quality.

In our small schnapps distillery, 14 varieties are produced, for which the fruit comes from our own orchard.
