It has established itself as an important hub for initial training, but also for adult education. With the abz Lambach, we have created a prototype for training in rural areas. Our house is characterized by our diverse range of educational opportunities with a clear structure in terms of content. There are three disciplines at the Lambach Agricultural Education Center: • Housekeeping: 3 years • Horse industry: 4 years old: horse industry 6 years: Horse Management & Economics (horse management with HAK Matura) • In 15 classes around 400 young people between the ages of 14 and 18 are trained by 60 teachers. The students learn and work in modern classrooms and practice rooms. The school is very centrally located and easily accessible by public transport (bus and train). Living at the school, in the boarding school, is an attractive alternative to the daily way to school. Training at abz Lambach The Lambach Agricultural Education Center was built on a peninsula on the Traun. The building system is heated by the biomass heating plant of the Lambach monastery. On the "Island of Education", the three subjects of home economics, horse management and agriculture offer well-founded know-how for a total of around 400 pupils. The boarding school building, which houses 200 girls and boys, is also characterized by a modern design. Adult education in the three disciplines, in the form of skilled workers and master classes and through the course program of the graduate associations, is also a concern of the abz. Various specialist conferences and numerous cultural events complete the diverse educational offer "An der Traun 1" - the first address for comprehensive education in rural areas.
