The former shooting club was closed down in 1957 and the shooting range has only been used very rarely since then, the condition deteriorated. In addition to raising awareness of game and nature, the Hubertusclub Almtal has set itself the particular goal of preserving tradition and customs. With the reopening of the Manger capsule rifle shooting range, this 120-year-old tradition in Viechtwang will be preserved for future generations.
