A movement that feels harder than usual.** Or simply that quiet feeling: *I need a different rhythm.* That’s how it was for my mother. For decades, she was always on the go—athletic, dedicated, always there for others. Breaks? She hardly ever took any. There was always something to do. Does that sound familiar to you? A daily life full of responsibilities and hardly any time to take a deep breath? Today, at 61, her body is tired. She’s accomplished a lot. Maybe too much. Now she’s learning to be kinder to herself. And what’s helping her do that is something very simple yet so powerful: **chair yoga.** ### **That’s exactly why I founded Balancekraft.** Because I’ve seen **how beneficial it is to reconnect with your own body—** without pressure, without expectations. Just as it comes. Even my husband’s grandmother—over 88—still goes for mindful walks in the woods every day. Slowly, connected to nature. “It’s just more fun when the weather’s nice,” she says with a smile. Every day, these women show me that **mindfulness, movement, and a zest for life go hand in hand—at any age.
