Among Fischlham´s most remarkable possessions is the outstanding chancel area, the so-called "Fischerkanzel", in the Gothic parish church. There are only six well-preserved chancels of the same kind in all Austria. Fischlham is also a true paradise for culture fans: lovely Bernau moated castle ranks among the highlights! Change to the ‘Vorchdorfer Bahn’ (line 160) from Stern & Hafferl to Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting station and take the Salzkammergut Shuttle to Almspitz. **By bus:** OÖVV bus route 501 Wels - Fischlham - Steinerkirchen - Eberstalzell - Spieldorf - Vorchdorf OÖVV bus route 503 (Sattledt -) Steinerkirchen/Traun - Fischlham - Lambach **by bike:** Coming from Wels or Linz on the R 4 Traunradweg or R6 Römerradweg, or from Gmunden R 4 Traunradweg or from Passau via Vöcklabruck and Schwanenstadt on the R 6 Römerradweg to Lambach or Edt bei Lambach over the Traun bridge at Almspitz and following the road to Fischlham. Regional cycle connections from Bad Wimsbach-Neydharting and Steinerkirchen an der Traun. **Local mobility with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service:** The micro public transport solution on site for hikes and excursions to places with connections to the train and bus lines in the village.
