Drawing on concrete success stories and initiatives from around the world, Anschober demonstrates that positive change is already taking place. This is especially necessary in times of climate crises, wars, and growing pessimism. He uses data and facts to demonstrate that, in many areas, the world is better than its reputation suggests. In doing so, he draws on optimism as a social force and encourages the silent majority—those committed to climate protection and justice—to make themselves visible once again.
