The Glöckler from the Gmunden Volunteer Fire Department parade through the festively lit streets of Grünberg, bringing best wishes for the New Year. Accompanied by festive songs, this tradition comes to life. The light from the Glöckler caps, combined with the muffled sound of the bells, is said to drive away evil spirits and attract good ones—a symbolic victory of light over the darkness of winter. Come by and be part of this spectacular spectacle, which not only enchants the eyes but also offers a vibrant expression of regional traditions and a sense of community during the cold season.
