Children ages 4 and up and their guardians are warmly invited to embark on journeys of discovery. Every first Tuesday of the month, from 3:00 p.m. to about 3:30 p.m., the kids can really get cozy. Stories will be read aloud from the library’s vast collection library: from “loud and funny” to “quiet as a mouse,” from “I wouldn’t have expected that” to “Ooooh, that’s exciting.” Joining in, getting caught up in the excitement, and chatting along is definitely encouraged! Admission to this adventurous break is free. Since seating on the cushions are limited, the library team asks that you register in advance (07612/794-430, stadtbuecherei@gmunden.ooe.gv.at). The “Purple Cave” is located on the first floor of the city library. Unfortunately, there is no elevator. Strollers can be parked on the ground floor.
