It is precisely these special moments that will be the focus of an interactive children’s book presentation on**Friday, October 16, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.,** at the Gmunden City Library. The event will feature the lovingly illustrated book **“Whenever We...”** by **Teresa Mossbauer and Léon Schellhaas**, with Melanie Jungwirth (salzi.tv) serving as moderator. What are the nicest traditions in your family? Have you heard of the rain dance? Or the “sweet plate”? In the book “Whenever We…,” sixteen children talk about their families and those moments that will stay with them forever. Among other things, the young listeners will learn how Anna’s family club works, what Clara’s “lucky jar” is all about, and why Rahim’s “World Travel Friday” is so exciting. The event demonstrates in a variety of ways that cherished family rituals are as unique as the families themselves. Often, it’s the small gestures without a special occasion that mean the most to children, parents, and grandparents. All children ages 4 and up are invited, along with their accompanying adults. This colorful afternoon event will take place in a cozy atmosphere in the “Purple Cave” on the 1st floor of the Gmunden City Library, Traungasse 4. Unfortunately, there is no elevator.
