Fairytale pilgrims along the Traun River

In 2020/21 I made a pilgrimage with fairy tales over a good 200km through the Traunsee-Almtal region, which resulted in a fairy tale pilgrimage route with 15 stages. For 3 days we will be on this path together for a while and each time we will be accompanied by a fairy tale. In these old stories you can find parallels to stories from the Bible but also to our own life paths! Maybe we will find fairytale happiness in our lives with it!
Every day we walk distances of between 12 and 20 km with our day packs and cover only a few meters in altitude on asphalt, forest or hiking trails in addition to the Traun & Alm. You can expect fairy tales for the day, impulses, songs and information about churches and chapels, as well as silence and nature.

Day 1: We start at 2 p.m. in Gmunden at the guest center in Toscanapark and make a pilgrimage along the Traun to the mystical Traunfall
Day 2: the path continues to Lambach
Day 3: Via Bad Wimsbach we make the pilgrimage to Vorchdorf.
