To the left of us is the moor area, on the opposite side the forest. Right at the beginning we experience the fascination of this special flora, a wildness in nature that we rarely encounter today. Tinder fungus and tramete grow on dead trees and find ideal conditions here. The black alder only manages to live in wet soil because of an intimate relationship with certain bacteria. A "nature slide show" helps us to perceive details better. We consciously use our senses, hear the noises of the moor forest (the bird world finds ideal conditions here), carefully feel the structure of the horsetail and experience the softness of the forest floor in the adjacent forest.
