This unique ski lodge is located at an altitude of 1,273 meters, right next to the mountain station of the Jagerspitz 8-seater cable car — a real gem: a former hunting lodge from Tyrol that has been faithfully reconstructed on the Kasberg.

In this special atmosphere, we welcome our guests on approximately 100 operating days with an incomparably rustic hut flair and a warmly designed interior. We serve typical Austrian dishes, as is customary in ski resorts – from hearty classics to sweet hut specialties.

The Sonnalm is a seasonal restaurant focusing on traditional Alpine cuisine, complemented by modern classics, snacks, and breakfast options.

The high-quality but down-to-earth hut focuses on quality, regionality, and experiential gastronomy.

The Sonnalm, with seating for 200 inside, is the ideal meeting place in the Kasberg family ski area: perfect for a break, for ski tourers, and simply for soaking up the sun on our large panoramic terrace, which can accommodate 400 hungry ski guests.

Children's ski course groups, our talented young skiers, are served special children's menus in separate rooms, allowing them to recharge their batteries between ski training sessions.

When it comes to celebrations, the Sonnalm is THE place to be: it is the perfect location for events and functions – from atmospheric hut events to special private and corporate occasions.
