What does mobility mean?
For some, mobility means getting from A to B, for others it means much more; namely freedom and safety.
For us, mobility means combining all these things and making your journey as pleasant and easy as possible. We recommend that you travel by public transport and also take a holiday from your own car. On this page you will find information about all the possibilities to get around in our region by public transport such as train, bus, Traunstein Taxi and many more.

Since 2020, you can use the new Freizeit-Ticket OÖ (Upper Austria Leisure Ticket) alone, as a couple or with the whole family to travel by bus and train throughout the entire province for one day!
You can buy the ticket via the OÖVV app, directly in the regional buses, at the ticket machines of LINZ AG LINIEN and via all sales channels of ÖBB.
Travelling simply and comfortably has never been so easy!
The shuttle bus runs on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays under the stone in the summer months. From there you can easily reach the various entrances to the Traunstein.
Pssst... The partner ticket contains a voucher worth € 5.00. This is valid as a Gmundner gift voucher and can be redeemed in the shops and restaurants of the town of Gmunden.
Holidaying by bike? No problem! Many marked cycle paths run through our region, making travelling within easy and pleasant.
You don't have a bike with you, but would like to cycle along the lake? That's no problem either. You will also find various places where you can rent eBikes, mountain bikes or classic bikes.
