Explore the Salzkammergut by bike

The Salzkammergut Cycle Path invites you to enjoy and get to know the Salzkammergut. From the leisurely stretches to the demanding variant, there is everything for every taste and condition.

The special thing about it is that the term enjoyment and history is in the foreground alongside the sporting aspect and that the region has scenic attractions that make cycling an unmistakable experience.

Because the route around the Traunsee also leads to 4 smaller lakes, past a stalactite cave, the infamous Gmundner ceramics factory and to grandiose vantage points (such as Gmundnerberg or Grünberg).

Furthermore through nature reserves, to hospitable rest stops and accommodations, or for the daredevils on a downhill route from the almost 1,600 meter high Feuerkogel almost 6 kilometers into the valley.

A detour into the Almtal to the Almsee and back over the Offensee to the Traunsee is definitely worth it.
