Almsee Natural Ice Rink (Lake)

  The ice surface on the Almsee is covered by a thick layer of snow and the lake is not completely frozen over. However, we strongly advise against entering the ice surface, as it is not possible to judge the condition of the ice surface! Entering the ice surface on the Almsee is always at your own risk! Please also note that it can be icy on the circular path around the Almsee and that the path is not a designated winter hiking trail and is not cleared or gritted. We recommend using "Eisl" and only sturdy footwear. We also ask you to only use the designated parking area! There is a large (paid) parking lot at Gasthaus Seehaus, which is only a few minutes' walk from the lake.
