Vorchdorf, Oberösterreich, Österreich

The 2026 Corn Maze in Vorchdorf – Escape to Australia

The inn in Edt, Vorchdorf in the Almtal, offers an extra attraction for all visitors during the summer!

In the cornfield next to the inn, there’s a very special kind of maze.

All set? Well then, the team at Wirt in der Edt wishes you lots of fun!

Closed in case of bad weather—check the maze traffic light on the homepage!
Red: closed; yellow: accessible only with a second pair of shoes; green: fully accessible

Dive into a one-of-a-kind adventure! The popular corn maze in Vorchdorf is opening its gates again this year—with an impressive new theme:

Escape to Australia—Off to the Outback!

This year, a giant kangaroo and a koala form the corn maze, which measures approximately 250 by 170 meters. Starting in mid-July, guests of all ages can explore the stations, which are easily recognizable from a distance thanks to large wind vanes.

In the middle of the artfully cut maze, exciting questions await you, which you’ll have to discover along the way. But watch out: For the first time this year, answers are submitted via a Google Form—conveniently using your smartphone! So pay close attention—you might even win a prize!

But the usual orientation guide will also be available again, because this year the maze is bigger than ever before—the network of paths has never been so extensive in the last seven editions!

Anyone setting out on this adventure should be prepared for a good-length hike.

Tip: Don’t forget your smartphone—for the Google Form and some great photos! Be sure to bring sturdy shoes—and if you want to play it safe, it’s best to bring a second pair.

Season start: Mid-JULY— when the corn is ready!—If it’s ready sooner, we’ll let you know right away, of course!

Whether you’re a family, a school class, or a group of adventurers—the corn maze is an experience for young and old alike. So come on by and let Jumpy and Gipsy’s winding paths challenge you!

If the weather isn’t so great and the maze is unfortunately closed, our spacious playground is always available to you—with a variety of play equipment for the kids to let off steam.

With that in mind—head over to the Wirt in der Edt—admission is—as it is every year—free, aside from voluntary donations!
