Via Attnang-Puchheim station to Gmunden station, with the Traunseetram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gmunden Engelhof stop, also coming from Vorchdorf Eggenberg.

Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.

By bus: OÖVV bus lines 533 and Citybus lines from Gmunden or Grünau im Almtal to the Gmunden Engelhof stop. Then either with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service or on foot.

by bike: GH Franzl im Holz is also very easy to reach by bike. The Traunvierteltour Etape 2 from Schlierbach via the Almtal to Gmunden passes directly by the house, in the direction of Gmunden you have access to the R4 Traunradweg and R 2 Salzkammergutradweg.
