Description: We would like to thank Sabine and Siegfried Pabst-Spiessberger for the many years of culinary and personal pampering of their guests in the Salzkammergut and wish them much health and time for themselves in their well-deserved retirement!
Unfortunately, the inn will not be continued and will remain permanently closed. We ask for your understanding!

How to get to Landgasthof Baumgarten in Gschwandt in the Traunsee-Almtal region:
We recommend travelling by public transport!
By train:
Via Attnang-Puchheim station to Gmunden station, with the Traunsee tram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Baumgarten-Waldbach stop, also coming from Vorchdorf Eggenberg. The tram stop is close by. Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee
by bus: OÖVV bus lines 533, 535, bus stop Baumgarten Abzw Moosham
by bike: The Landgasthof Baumgarten is also easily accessible by bike. The Traunvierteltour as well as the R4 Traunradweg and R 2 Salzkammergutradweg are easily accessible from Gmunden. From the Laudachseestraße junction bridge over Wasserlosen Bach to the inn approx. 5 minutes away.
By car:
West motorway A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A1 - exit A1 Laakirchen West - via Laakirchen to Gmunden, ...
West motorway A1: Munich - Salzburg - exit A1 Regau - to Gmunden, ...
...before Gmunden take the B120 east bypass in the direction of Scharnstein, at the roundabout in Baumgarten take the first exit in the direction of Baumgarten, after 350 metres on the left-hand side.
