The Grünau branch of the Federal Republic of Upper Austria was founded in 1945. Unfortunately, the day of the founding meeting could never be found out. At this meeting, Drack Josef (Drack Schuster Sepp), Binder Hans, Riedler Ferdinand, Plursch Gustl and some gentlemen from Scharnstein were present. Drack Josef made a particularly good contribution. Plursch Gustl was elected chairman. Due to his experience in the mountains and his knowledge of the terrain, Drack Josef was chosen as the first head of operations. What is certain is that an annual general meeting took place in late autumn 1946.Ready on call!
