In 1936 the wooden chapel was replaced by a new building at the request of Franz Weingartner, the so-called "Veitlbauer farmer in Spieldorf´.
The new building was consecrated on May 03, 1937 by Dean P. Felix Wieser. A tower with a tiny cross and two small bells are roofed by the east-facing walls. Two pointed windows in typical Gothic style represent the chapel´s source of light.
Two precious glass paintings, depicting Maria Magdalena and Franz of Sales, are situated right above the main entrance. The chapel´s interior features a wonderful, little altar with a small grotto located above, containing a statue of the Virgin Mary of Lourd and an inscription: "Under your protection we flee".
Beside it you find a statue of Saint Joseph and the Sacred Heart. Marvelous images depicting the Stations of the Cross can be admired on the side walls. A giant cross is overlooking the whole interior of the chapel. In 1980 the building was completely renovated and refurbished. Even the tower and the roof were replaced.
