In the municipality of Altmünster, specifically in the village of Nachdemsee, a piece of land owned by the province of Upper Austria has been adapted and can now also be used as a public bathing area. An additional 4,462 square meters of sunbathing area is now available on Lake Traunsee. On Lake Traunsee alone, the province of Upper Austria offers four public bathing areas, which are supplemented by the facilities provided by the lakeside communities.4813 Altmünster

Entry to the "Nachdemsee" bathing area is free of charge.
However, parking fees are charged daily from May 15 to September 15 from 10:00 to 18:00.
Day ticket: EUR 5 (to be paid directly on site - parking machine - coins or card payment only)
Season ticket: EUR 60.

Is the parking of coaches and/or motorhomes permitted?
For buses, trucks, trailers, caravans, motorhomes, camper vans, etc., parking is permitted if a parking permit
is given (observe signs and information boards on site) per parking space used (car dimensions!!)
a parking ticket must be purchased. Overnight stays, camping, barbecues and open fires are prohibited!
