The new Gmunden Ceramics Shop near the Trauntor, right in the heart of the city, invites visitors into its stylish setting as a “miniature pottery market,” open year-round, six days a week. Renowned, highly skilled European ceramic artists are represented here with vessels, tableware, sculptures, and decorative items made of porcelain, stoneware, and other materials, in a wide variety of artistic styles and to suit every individual taste; every piece is one-of-a-kind! The city government operates the ceramics shop itself, thereby sending a clear signal of its commitment to living up to its reputation as one of Europe’s most prominent centers of ceramics.

Hours:

Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
