Easter fun for young and old horse fans

The Easter market at the Stadl-Paura Equestrian Center will once again be a meeting place for families and horse fans in 2026. On the Palm weekend of 28 and 29 March, the historic facility will be transformed into a lively Easter world: with craftsmanship, culinary delights and a varied program for children.

Easter rally - an adventure for little explorers
Children get their money's worth at the Easter market. The stations at the Easter rally are colorful and offer plenty of encounters with horses. Pony rides, carriage rides, a guided tour of the stables or a meet & greet with the Shetland ponies Sissy and Franzi bring children very close to the animals. There are more four-legged friends to discover and get to know in the petting zoo and on a walk with alpacas. Creativity and attention are required at the craft station, face painting and puppet theater. Bouncy castle, hobby horsing and the show forge provide action. Those who collect all the stamps in their rally pass can look forward to a special surprise - personally presented by the Easter Bunny.

Made by hand: art, pleasure and tradition
The heart of the weekend is the Easter market with numerous exhibitors presenting their craftsmanship. The stalls offer a varied selection of materials, products and lovingly crafted individual items - perfect for browsing and shopping. The farmers' wives from the Wels-Land district, among others, provide for your physical well-being with their delicious pastries and regional specialties.

Impressive works of art are created when the wood carvers set their chainsaws to work. The artists create impressive sculptures from solid tree trunks in front of the visitors. The farrier also gives exciting insights into his craft on site and shows how diverse the shoe variants for horses are. The Easter market is open daily from 10:00-17:00. Admission is 3 euros, children up to the age of 15 are admitted free of charge.

More equestrian sport, more action
If you want to experience even more equestrian action this weekend, you can join in the excitement at the competitions taking place at the same time. An Icelandic horse tournament will take place in the large event hall, while a Mounted Games tournament outside will provide speed, skill and excitement. Action and entertainment are guaranteed.

On the Friday before the Easter market, March 27, hobby gardeners can pick up free horse manure for the coming gardening season at the second "Manure Day".
