Salt transport across the Traunsee

For many centuries, salt barges were used on Lake Traunsee to transport the precious salt from Ebensee to Gmunden. As part of the Capital of Culture, an exact replica of a 16th-century salt tug was created, which will now make its journeys on the lake.
