Our hot glass courses are aimed at the curious and interested, beginners and advanced, creative and innovative, in other words anyone who wants to discover a new material.

All age groups from 8 years!

You will discover the world of hot glass technology and glass blowing in theory and practice under expert guidance and have the opportunity to work the hot, viscous glass with your own hands. You get an unforgettable experience and your self-made unique piece*.

*Glass must cool slowly overnight. Your piece is then cut by us and is ready for collection or dispatch 1-2 days after the course.

Time and duration of the course can be arranged individually on Friday and Saturday.

HOT GLASS TASTING

take place on Open Studio days / you don't need to book! 1 person Duration: approx. 15 min Costs: € 70,- per person - including the created glass object*. no previous knowledge required What to bring: Curiosity and the joy of trying things out A first introduction After a short introduction and instruction, you will create your own glass object (a glass flower or a paperweight) with our help.

WARMING UP WITH EACH OTHER

max. 4 persons Duration: 2h (between 10:00-17:00) Cost: € 500 (divided by the number of people) Including created glass objects*. no previous knowledge required What to bring: Curiosity and the joy of trying things out Dress code: Cotton clothing After a short introduction and instruction, you will create different glass objects with our help. You will be guided playfully and individually step by step through the process of making your individual pieces.

THE SPARK JUMPS OVER

max. 5 persons Duration: 3h (10:00-13:00 or 14:00-17:00) Cost: € 600 (divided by the number of people) Including created glass objects*. Half-day course to get to know each other better, What to bring: A desire to discover, experiment and learn more. Dress code: Cotton clothing After an appropriate introduction and instruction, you will create your own glass object and get to know the hot glass technique better. Among other things, you will learn how to pick up the hot, liquid glass mass from the melting pot with the glassmaker's pipe, you will deal with gravity, learn how air and colour get into the glass and learn how to use the tools correctly.

FIRE AND FLAME

  max. 5 persons Duration: 6h (10:00-13:00 and 14:00-17:00) Cost: € 1,100 (divided by the number of people) Including created glass objects*. Full-day course to get to know each other intensively, What to bring: A desire to discover, experiment and learn more. Dress code: Cotton clothing After an appropriate introduction and instruction, you will create your own glass object, get to know the hot glass technique better, immerse yourself in glass craft and develop the ability to make simple forms out of glass. Among other things, you will learn how to pick up the hot, liquid glass mass from the melting pot with the glassmaker's pipe, you will deal with gravity, learn how the air and colour get into the glass, and learn how to use the tools correctly.

GLASS LAB

Space for experimentation and interdisciplinarity Tradition - Innovation max. 5 persons Duration: 6h / 12h ( 1- 2 days) Cost: € 1,100 / 2,200 (divided by the number of persons) Courses lasting one to several days, specially designed for designers, artists and creative professionals to give them the opportunity to get to know this fascinating medium and to discover it for themselves. Above all, however, to create a space for play and experimentation, to generate new ideas that would not have been conceivable before this familiarisation.
