Printing Like in the Old Days

How did people print without computers in the past? And what patterns are hiding right on our doorstep?

In this creative workshop, children will dive into the world of traditional printing. After an exciting introduction to historical printing presses and wooden type, we’ll set out on a discovery tour together. Outside, we’ll collect impressions of textures and patterns from our surroundings. Then we’ll use them to create our own prints and combine them with classic letters to form unique works of art.

Part of the program takes place outdoors.
