Long Night of the Museums - Ebensee Museum

The Ebensee Museum is participating in this year's "ORF Long Night of Museums" 

The Ebensee Museum, located in the historic salt office dating from 1604, combines the industrial, social, and cultural history of the Salzkammergut with regional customs and traditional crafts. The exhibition focuses on the Ebensee saltworks, everyday life, tourism, and the local traditions that have emerged from the region’s social history. During the “ORF Long Night of Museums,” visitors can enjoy guided tours accompanied by music. A special highlight is the temporary exhibition on the sculptor Hans Greil, an artist and director of the Ebensee Woodworking School, who had a lasting influence on woodcarving and wood sculpture in the Salzkammergut region.
