Under the motto “Young Masters Across Borders,” young rising stars from Austria and the Czech Republic are going on tour together—with chamber music that showcases just how close Vienna and Prague have always been musically. Three ensembles per concert, two countries, one shared goal: to showcase emerging talent and build cultural bridges. This concert evening features the Maria Sotriffer Trio, Duo Comenius, and Trio Vyšehrad—the latter named after the Vyšehrad Hill in Prague, where Dvořák and Smetana are laid to rest. The program ranges from Beethoven’s dramatic String Trio in C minor to Smetana’s passionate Piano Trio.
