Fairytale pilgrims in the Almtal valley

In 2020/21 I made a pilgrimage with fairy tales over a good 200km through the Traunsee-Almtal region, which resulted in a fairy tale pilgrimage route with 15 stages. For 3 days we will be on this path together for a while and each time we will be accompanied by a fairy tale. In these old stories you can find parallels to stories from the Bible but also to our own life paths! Maybe we will find fairytale happiness in our lives with it!

Day 1: We start at the Ranklleiten beer hotel and take a walk to the Steinbachbrücke train station. From there you can take the train to Pettenbach. Then we hike to Scharnstein and take the train back to Steinbachbrücke.
Day 2: We take the train back to Scharnstein, where we start the next hike. Our destination is Hochsalm and Mittagstein, two magnificent peaks with wonderful views. Then we go to Steinbach am Ziehberg, where we are picked up by the Traunstein Taxi and drive back to Pettenbach.
Day 3: The Traunstein Taxi takes you back to Steinbach am Ziehberg. This hike takes us via the Ederbild and the Friedenskreuz.
