Model ship meeting at the bathing lake

A cosy meeting of model ship captains and friends of model shipbuilding!

We will meet again in 2025 for the ship model meeting in St. Konrad with a temporal extension!

But the motto remains the same: A cosy meeting of model ship captains and friends of model ship building!

Date:
The beginning is already on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
Main sailing day on Sunday, 4th May 2025 from 10:00 a.m.

Location:
At the bathing lake in St. Konrad in the Traunsee-Almtal region in the Salzkammergut.

You take your model boat (no combustion engines!) and a good mood with you to the beautiful bathing lake with a mountain panorama in the Salzkammergut.
Catering will be provided by Thomas Aigner, the new tenant of the bathing lake buffet. 
Free entry to the bathing area for the model captains.
Important note: Dogs are not allowed at the bathing lake!

It is also possible to arrive and stay overnight with a caravan or motorhome. However, it is essential to book in advance, as pitches are limited.

How to get to the bathing lake in St. Konrad in the Traunsee-Almtal region!

We recommend travelling by public transport!

By train and bus:
With the Salzkammergutbahn (line 170) via Gmunden railway station from Attnang-Puchheim or Bad Ischl and via Viechtwang or Scharnstein-Mühldorf railway station with the Almtalbahn (line 153) via Viechtwang or Scharnstein-Mühldorf railway station from Wels;
Numerous connections from Attang Puchheim or Wels station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) in the direction of Salzburg or Linz/Vienna or to Passau (D) on the Passau railway (line 150).
Onward journey to St. Konrad by bus and/or Traunsee Tram and Salzkammergut Shuttle Service

by bus:
OÖVV bus route 533/534 Gmunden - St. Konrad - Scharnstein - Grünau im Almtal - Almsee (also on Sundays and public holidays)
OÖVV bus route 535 Oberweis - Gmunden - St. Konrad - Viechtwang

Please call +43 (0) 50 - 422 422 at least 1 hour before the start of the journey! We are available for you by telephone daily from 6:00 to 19:00. Route 52 Laakirchen - Moorbad Gmös - Kirchham (Trauneetram connection) - Hagenmühle - Scharnstein (Almtalbahn connection). Daily from 07:00 to 20:00 every hour, also on Sundays and public holidays.

Bike & Hike, travelling by bike:
Coming from Wels or Linz on the R 4 Traunradweg to Laakirchen or Gmunden. Also via the cycle connection from the R 11 Almtalradweg from Almsee or from Wels via Scharnstein to St. Konrad cycle route from Vorchdorf via Kirchham to Gschwandt. On the Traunvierteltour - stage 2 from Schlierbach to Gmunden am Traunsee.

By car:
Motorway A1 Westautobahn from Vienna Exit 207 Exit Vorchdorf at the roundabout - direction Gmunden - junction Eisengattern - Kaltenmarkt - St. Konrad Motorway A1 Westautobahn Salzburg Exit 224 Exit Regau at the roundabout - B145 in the direction of Gmunden - junction B120 in the direction of Scharntein - St. Konrad
