Holiday with dog

In public places in the local area it is compulsory to keep dogs on a leash or in a muzzle (Upper Austrian Dog Control Act 2002). In the area of schools, kindergartens, as well as in public transport, events and at many excursion destinations, dogs must be kept on a leash or muzzled. Special regulations may be issued by the local council - please therefore observe the local notice boards or enquire at the respective municipality.
