This was the 8th “Almtaler Wirte Genussmarkt” – festival of hosts

Together with the municipality of Scharnstein and the Traunsee-Almtal Tourist Board, the participating hosts invited guests to sample various regional delicacies and delicacies from the Salzkammergut region at their cooking stands and to convince themselves of the culinary arts of the local gastronomy. Musically, the guests were welcomed by pupils of the music school of the “LMS Scharnstein” and then accompanied by the “Nia z'Haus Musi” through the evening.

On this wonderful late indian summer evening, over 400 guests were also professionally and charmingly served by the students of our partner school “HLW Don Bosco” from Vöcklabruck and their teachers. This year, for the first time, direct marketers were also present at the “Wirtegenussmarkt” – festival of hosts, in order to show more strongly the regional cooperation between agriculture and gastronomy. Likewise, the school kitchen of the NMS Scharnstein was there, who are also partners of the association "Schmecktakuläres Almtal" at " Schmecktakuläres Almtal does school".
