How to get to the Seehotel Schwan in Gmunden in the Traunsee-Almtal region:
We recommend travelling by public transport!
By train:
via Attnang-Puchheim station on the Salzkammergutbahn (line 170) to Gmunden station, from Gmunden station with the Traunseetram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gmunden Rathausplatz stop, also coming from Vorchdorf Eggenberg or Gmunden Engelhof (Park & Ride). The bus stop is just beside the hotel.
Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or on the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.
By bus:
OÖVV bus lines 507, 505 or 533 as well as city bus lines from Gmunden, bus stop Gmunden Rathausplatz. The bus stop is approx. 100 metres away.
By bike:
The Seehotel Schwan is also very easy to reach by bike. The Traunvierteltour and the R4 Traunradweg (also as a feeder to the R 2 Salzkammergutradweg) lead directly past the restaurant. Cycle car park right next to the restaurant.
by car:
Motorway A1: From Munich/Salzburg or Vienna/Linz - exit A1 Regau - B145 to Gmunden, also from Bad Ischl on the B145 - directly to the town centre
Parking in the town centre:
underground car park approx. 300 metres away, numerous parking spaces in the town centre (short-term parking zone during the day).
