The Hochleckenhaus is a refuge mountain hut of the "Österreichischer Alpenverein" (Austrian Alpine Club), Vöcklabruck Section in the Höllengebirge at 1,572 m above sea level and owes its name to the local mountain, the Hochleckenkogel, popularly known as "Hochlecken". The award of the environmental seal of approval underlines our commitment to preserving the beauty and originality of the mountain world.
Rooms and facilities
We are open from Palm Sunday to 26 October (even in bad weather). In addition to the large guest garden, the guest parlour has room for 50 people and the stone pine parlour for 20 people. The Hochleckenhaus has 32 beds and 70 camp beds. Click here for online room reservations !
