As early as the 16th century, the inn was first mentioned in 1667 as the "Taverne zur Linthen". Today, Nina and Werner Schausberger are the fourth generation to run the business. They are actively supported by Christl and Franz Schausberger, who were the 3rd generation to take over the family business in 1972.
Old recipes are preserved, but also reinterpreted. The main focus of all dishes is on the product itself. According to our motto "Fresh, Seasonal, Regional", we add seasonal specialties to our menu, depending on the season and availability.
In 2007 our old kitchen was converted into a cozy dining room. Here you can celebrate in a traditional and atmospheric setting.
In our dining room you will still find a few old elements from the eventful past, such as the originally preserved tram ceilings and sandstone pillars.
Of course, a regulars' table should not be missing either. In order to maintain the pub culture, we keep our regulars' table free to sit together as far as possible.
In addition to the bar, our guests can also look forward to a winter garden. The modern - Mediterranean ambience contrasts with the traditional dining room and the old kitchen.
In the summer months, as far as the weather permits, our life takes place outdoors. Our children's playground is right next to the guest garden.
