How to get to the Jausenstation Oberschwiebl in Grünau im Almtal:

by train: from Wels railway station take the Almtalbahn (line 153) to Grünau im Almtal; numerous connections from Wels railway station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101). Change to bus or Salzkammergut Shuttle Service.

by bus: OÖVV bus routes 533/534 Gmunden - Grünau im Almtal railway station - Almsee, bus stop Almtal Hinterrinnbach (just 300 metres away)

with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 60 from Grünau train station to the Wanderruh turn-off stop (approx. 500 metres away), call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 or order on the otaxi app.

walking: From the centre or Grünau im Almtal train station, you can take a leisurely walk along the Almuferweg "Genuss am Almfluss", after Wanderruh turn right over the bridge and walk approx. 500 metres to the snack station on the left.

by bike: On the R11 Almtalradweg coming from Wels via Scharnstein, or from Gmunden on the Traunviertel Tour via Scharnstein in the direction of Grünau im Almtal, continue in the direction of Almsee on the L549, straight on past the junction of the cycle path in the direction of Almsee to the junction to the Oberschwiebl snack station.

By car: West motorway A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A9 - exit Ried/Tr. - Voitsdorf - Pettenbach - Scharnstein - Grünau Western motorway A1: Munich - Salzburg - Regau - Gmunden - Scharnstein - Grünau InnkreisautobahnA8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A9 Pyhrnautobahn - exit Ried/Tr. - Voitsdorf - Pettenbach - Scharnstein - Grünau From the centre of Grünau, follow the L549 road to the junction for the Oberschwiebl snack station (approx. 2.4 km).
