The club "Modeleisenbahnclub Salzkammergut" has 40 members. Tehy try to make construction abou 140 m² and if this is finishe, it is the biggest construction in Salzkammergut. A part of the construction is of Gmunden including the tram in Gmuden and Lake Castle Orth. The model railway mini wonderland awaits visitors young and old with around 170m². The track winds through fascinatingly detailed landscape centres. Many of the Salzkammergut's sights are packed into it, such as the old Grünberg cable car, Ort Castle, the steamship Gisela, the Gmundner Esplanade and the Schafberg. The Salzkammergut Family Shopping Park, a concrete factory of the Asamer company, trains of the Stern & Hafferl company and vehicles of local companies can also be found on the large layout, where many things turn and move. The model railway mini wonderland is the largest and most beautiful model railway in Upper Austria. The model railway mini wonderland is located on the mezzanine floor of the SEP, directly above the Intersport - best reached with the Intersport lift.
