The Pro Gmundner Tram Association has its headquarters in Gmunden, is politically independent and not geared towards profit. Since 1989 he has been working tirelessly for the maintenance and expansion of the Gmundner tram by expanding it into an attractive and efficient public transport system.

The goals are in particular the continuation of the tram to Rathausplatz and its connection with the local railway Gmunden - Vorchdorf, as well as the use of modern, barrier-free rail vehicles. The association not only raises awareness through targeted public relations work in favor of the Gmunden tram, but was and is a recognized source of inspiration for all future plans. That is why we do not put the past but the future of the Gmundner tram at the center of our activities.
