The inaugural meeting took place on 6 May 1977, at which over 100 members had already signed up. Work on the construction of four tennis courts and the clubhouse began as early as the autumn of 1977. Play commenced in the summer of 1978. The official opening and inauguration took place on 15 June 1980. From the very beginning, our primary aim has been to prioritise sport and young people, whilst remaining free from all ideological and political influences. For this reason, TC Traunkirchen also became a member of the Upper Austrian General Sports Association (ASVÖ), whose objectives align with those of our club. Cooperation with all stakeholders is of great importance to us. We also offer guests, who return time and again to enjoy the idyllic countryside, an excellent tennis experience!
