Natmessnig Krippe

The „Natmessnig“ Crib is an authentic crib from Ebensee and has a size of 13m². This crib is more than 100 years old and it came as a wedding gift to Altmünster.

The Natmessnig cot is a genuine "Ebensee landscape cot" measuring 13 m2 . This inherited, over 100-year-old Ebensee nativity scene came to Altmünster through marriage. With around 500 figures and houses, it is the nativity scene with the most figures in Altmünster. natmessnig nativity scene The local landscape is enlivened by scenes of mountain pastures, hunting and everyday life. This Ebensee landscape nativity scene features the indispensable figures typical of the region, such as the "Lampö- traga" and "Vada lass mi a mithn". Much is reminiscent of the Schwanthal nativity scene. However, events that upset people also found their way into the nativity scene, such as the figure of "Huss, geh' Melag"
