Parish Almtal

The parish of Almtal comprises the following parishes: Vorchdorf, Viechtwang, Steinerkirchen an der Traun, St. Konrad, Scharnstein, Pettenbach, Magdalenaberg, Grünau im Almtal, Kirchham, Fischlham and Eberstalzell.

On 01.01.2026, the "Almtal Parish" will be founded as our joint authority for all 11 parishes based on church law. This means that we will be more closely connected than was previously the case in the deanery. The parish economic council of the Almtal parish, consisting of the financial managers of each parish, will take on tasks that will enable us to continue to act as a community in the pastoral fields of work in the future, despite dwindling financial resources.
