My interest in the human sciences, particularly psychology, became apparent whilst I was a student at the Diocesan Teacher Training College in Linz.
During my 20 years as a teacher, I frequently worked with pupils with significant behavioural challenges and realised that this setting did not allow me to address their specific needs professionally. In order to gain at least a basic understanding of therapeutic options, I decided to complete the preparatory course.
It soon became clear to me that I wanted to explore person-centred psychotherapy in greater depth, and I began my training with the ÖGWG. Since May 2016, I have been working as a psychotherapist in training under supervision and in private practice.
I gained clinical experience at the AMEOS Clinic in Bad Aussee in 2013 and 2016, and from February to December 2016 I volunteered for the telephone counselling service.
