In the beautiful Salzkammergut region, where tradition meets the future and formal language blends with colloquial speech, the idea of a stylish charging station was initially just a concept. It was only once a product ready for mass production had been finalised, following many prototypes, that the name was chosen.

The aim was to find a short word that best describes the charging station.

WOOD … the natural raw material

DOCKING … establishing a connection

These two words were combined in the local dialect’s slang to form ‘HOIZDOGG’, which is the name.

In keeping with the spirit and meaning of the name, we are continuing to expand our product range and aim to keep combining modern technology with this traditional natural material in the future.
