Feuerkogel plateau

From mid-May to the beginning of November and mid-December to the end of March / beginning of April, the Feuerkogel cable car provides transportation from the valley station up to the mountain station.

Summer operation 2026: May 9, 2026 to November 1, 2026 daily
daily from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm (June 29 - September 6 until 6.00 pm)
Operation every 20 minutes - continuous if required

Winter operation 2026/27: mid-December 2026 - 29. 03. 2027
Cable car runs from 08:30-17:00 (lifts 09:00-16:00, as long as snow conditions allow)

In suitable weather conditions, the Feuerkogel plateau can also be reached on foot (approx. 3 hours' walk) and in the summer season also by mountain bike (10 km mountain tour!!).

Somewhat suitable for wheelchairs: Assistance is sometimes necessary. The measurements do not (fully) conform to the legally stipulated ÖNORM.
